Frequently asked questions

Does Layfit crop or stretch my photos?

No. Layfit places each photo on the canvas at its original aspect ratio and fills the remaining space with a blur, a solid color or a color taken from the photo.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. All editing happens on your device, and Layfit has no server.

Which photo formats can I use?

You can import JPEG, HEIC and PNG photos. Layfit saves the result as JPEG.

Where are my saved images?

In the Photos app, under Recents. If you turn on the app album option in Settings, they are also in the “Layfit Exports” album.

Layfit cannot see my photos.

Open Settings > Layfit > Photos and allow access, or choose the photos you want Layfit to use when iOS asks.
