Privacy Policy
Layfit edits the photos you choose on your device and saves the result as a JPEG. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no server uploads, no ads, and no tracking.
1. What Layfit works with
Layfit works with the following information inside the app:
- Photos you choose to edit (JPEG, HEIC or PNG)
- Per-photo edit settings such as crop, rotation, position and background
- App settings such as language, default ratio, default background, output quality and the app album option
2. Where it is processed
All processing happens on your device. Layfit does not send your photos, edit settings or app settings to the developer or to any third party, and it has no backend server.
3. Photo access and saving
Layfit uses the iOS photo picker so you can choose the photos to edit. Layfit only loads the photos you select. If you choose limited access, Layfit works with the photos you have allowed.
When you save, the finished JPEG is added to your Photos library. If you turn on the app album option in Settings, it is also added to an album named “Layfit Exports”. Saved images stay in your Photos library until you delete them.
4. Settings stored on your device
Layfit stores your language, default ratio, default background, output quality and app album preference locally using iOS UserDefaults. These settings are not sent anywhere.
5. What Layfit does not do
- No advertising or ad SDKs
- No user tracking
- No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs
- No accounts, sign-in or server sync
6. Deleting your data
Deleting Layfit from your iPhone removes its settings. Images already saved to your Photos library remain there and can be deleted in the Photos app.
7. Children
Layfit does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
8. Changes
If Layfit changes how it handles data, for example by adding accounts, cloud features, analytics or ads, this policy will be updated before the change is released.
